Is this set suitable for very dry, sore, or frequently washed skin?

Yes. All of the products included are formulated to help support the skin barrier, replenish lost moisture and calm areas that feel dry, tight or sore, especially where the skin has been washed often. The range was developed alongside nurses and healthcare workers who wash their hands dozens of times a day, so each formula is made to be kind, comforting and suitable for frequent use.

How long should it take to notice a difference?

Many people notice their skin feels more comfortable straight away, especially if they have been experiencing tightness or dryness from frequent washing.

More visible improvements, such as smoother texture or reduced rough patches, typically appear over 2–3 days of regular use, particularly if you are applying after every wash or before sleep.

Do the products have fragrance, and what if my skin is sensitive to it?

Some items in our range contain a gentle, caring fragrance, while others are completely unfragranced.

If you or the person you are gifting has very reactive or allergy-prone skin, the unfragranced versions are the best place to start, as they contain no essential oils and no added scent.

All formulas are dermatologically tested and designed to be kind to the skin barrier.

Are the products safe for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or on children?

Yes. The formulas are cosmetic, dermatologically tested and safe for everyday family use.

However, if you prefer to avoid fragrance during pregnancy or breastfeeding, choose unfragranced options where available. Children with very sensitive skin may also prefer the unfragranced version.

We always suggest patch testing on a small area first when introducing any new skincare to little ones or during hormonal skin changes.

Can I use these products alongside prescription creams or steroid treatments?

Yes. Apply your prescription treatment first and let it fully absorb. Then use your Nursem cream afterwards to help support the skin barrier between medical applications.
