Hands Up For Nurses

As you know, recently we donated free hand cream to an extra 10,000 NHS heroes. We’ve just sent out the final Nursem Promise Packs, and want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who took part in #HandsUpForNurses.

The response we had to this was incredible. We even had some press coverage from __ who certainly helped spread the word! Together we’ve helped care for the hands of so many amazing frontline workers, and at a time when they need it the most.

The Big Send Out

As soon as we gathered all your nominations, Tom, our head of fulfilment, started boxing, packing, and shipping Nursem Promise Packs to all your NHS heroes around the UK.

When the UK went into lockdown last month, Tom took it upon himself to relocate Nursem fulfilment from our office to his very own home, and has since been doing an amazing job to ensure our products reach those who need them.

We've already had some incredible feedback from nurses who have happily received their Promise Packs. Together we have made a difference to the hardworking hands of our amazing NHS frontline staff!

Have a read through some of the lovely thank you messages we’ve received:

“Just wanted to say thank you for my Nursem products which arrived on the ward this morning. It was a lovely surprise after my niece had put me forward. My hands are really suffering at the moment. Thank you.” - Maxine

“Thank you fabulous folks Nursem for my lovely care package today. Feels like silk on my currently red, sore and dry hands. Your generous gift is much appreciated”. - Stephen

“These kind gestures and thoughts make me stronger and want to do more in spite of all struggles and difficulties. Very much appreciates” - Vaishali

Thank you so much again to everyone who supported #HandsUpForNurses. As you know, our mission is to provide free hand cream to every nurse and midwife by 2025, and #HandsUpForNurses is a small but strong step closer towards this. We’re so incredibly grateful for your support along the way.
