What is in Ultra Caring Body Balm, and what does each part do?
Mondo Grass helps restore the skin's natural barrier. Niacinamide helps support and condition the skin. Colloidal oatmeal calms dry, reactive skin. It is rich but non-greasy, fast-absorbing, fragrance free and Consultant Dermatologist Approved.
What skin concerns is it made for?
It is an intensive moisturiser for very dry and sensitive body skin, and is suitable for skin prone to eczema. Customers also reach for it for menopausal dryness and generally very dry legs, arms and body.
Can I use it if I have eczema or psoriasis-prone skin?
It is suitable for sensitive and eczema-prone skin and is fragrance free, which helps reduce the risk of irritation. Patch test first, avoid broken or weeping skin, and speak to your GP or dermatologist about a diagnosed condition or one that is not settling.
How and when should I apply it?
Apply daily and massage in until absorbed. It works best on slightly damp skin straight after a shower or bath, when it can help trap moisture. For external use only.
Is it suitable during or after cancer treatment, when skin can be very dry?
Many people use gentle, fragrance free moisturisers for the dryness that can come with treatment. Because everyone's treatment and skin are different, please check with your care team before use.
