What is in Caring Hand Wash, and what does each part do?
It cleans using mild, plant-derived surfactants (coco-glucoside and betaine) rather than soap or SLS. Aloe vera soothes as it cleans, avocado and wheatgerm oils nourish rather than strip, and vitamin E, Pro-Vitamin B5 and glycerin help defend against the dryness frequent washing causes. It is soap-free and SLS-free.
Why does normal soap leave my hands dry or sore, and how is this different?
Many soaps and SLS-based washes strip the skin's natural protective barrier, which leads to dryness, tightness and irritation with repeated washing. This wash cleans without that stripping effect, so hands feel clean but comfortable.
Does it clean as effectively as soap?
Yes. Used properly, it offers the same level of protection as soap. Lather onto wet hands for 20 to 30 seconds, covering all surfaces, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
Can I use it if I have eczema or dermatitis on my hands?
