Caring Hand Wash is formulated to clean effectively without drying the skin.

Instead of using harsh cleansing agents, it uses gentle, plant-derived surfactants that lift dirt and impurities while helping to keep the skin’s natural barrier feeling comfortable.

The formula is pH-balanced (close to the natural pH of your skin), which means it feels softer and less stripping than traditional soap.

It’s ideal for frequent washing, especially if your hands are prone to tightness or dryness.

Is it suitable for sensitive or eczema-prone skin?

Yes. Caring Hand Wash has been dermatologist approved and is suitable for dry, sensitive and eczema-prone skin.

It contains no sulphates (SLS/SLES) and is free from harsh foaming agents.

If your skin is very reactive or currently flaring, we recommend starting with a small amount to ensure your skin is happy, but many of our community with eczema-prone skin find this wash calming and comfortable to use every day.

Does it foam? Why does the lather feel soft?

Yes, but the foam is creamy and gentle, rather than big, bubbly or frothy.

This is intentional: heavy foam often means harsh detergents, which can dry the hands over time.

Our blend of mild cleansers produces a soft lather that cleans thoroughly and rinses easily, leaving hands feeling comfortable and nourished, not tight.

Yes, Caring Hand Wash is lightly fragranced with a gentle, clean scent designed to feel fresh but not overpowering.

The fragrance level is very soft, so the product remains suitable for many people with sensitive skin.

If you know you are sensitive to fragrance in general, we recommend patch testing or applying a small amount first to ensure your skin is happy.

How should I use it for best results if my hands are dry?

Massage into wet hands for at least 20 seconds to allow the gentle surfactants to lift away impurities without overworking the skin. Rinse with warm (not hot) water, then pat dry (do not rub) and apply hand cream straight away. This combination, gentle cleansing + moisturising immediately, helps maintain the skin barrier over time.
