Nursem voted as Runner Up in the Vogue Beauty Awards 2020
Jonny and Antonia Nursem Founders Vogue Beauty Awards
Last month, Nursem was shortlisted in the Vogue Beauty Awards 2020 in the category Lifetime Achievement Award For Empowering Women. Thanks to you, our amazing supporters, we were voted as Runner Up!

This is a huge achievement for Nursem, especially as we were up against some renowned beauty brands such as Avon, Lancôme, Estée Lauder and Bobbi Brown, who have all been involved in some incredible initiatives to drive female empowerment within the beauty industry.

Nursem was spotlighted for gifting a month’s supply of hand cream for every one sold to NHS nurses and midwives, an objective that was dramatically increased during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Giving back to our amazing nurses and midwives is at the heart of everything we do, and to be recognised by British Vogue for our Nursem Promise is a huge boost to help spread the word about our mission to give every nurse and midwife in the NHS free hand cream by 2025.

The Body Shop were the well-deserved winners in our category, for working with – and supporting – female communities globally. It was also great to see our friends Beauty Banks in the shortlist too, who were recognised for their amazing work in highlighting the need for basic hygiene products among forgotten impoverished communities.

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who voted for us. The Nursem Promise is only possible with your support, and we are so grateful for the part you play in our mission.
